Shifting our Dialogue and Unconscious Bias

If you have been following me for a while, then you know that I love a good perspective reframe. Often if we press pause and look at behaviours from a different perspective, we may be surprised to see a strength being presented rather than the initial negative assumption.

The neurodiversity movement encourages us to shift our dialogue and unconscious bias away from the exhaustive focus on deficiencies and deficits and rather towards acceptance.

Moving forward, to create neuroinclusive workplaces we need dedicated allyship. We need allies to advocate for others in the workplace, to challenge biases and to establish psychologically safe spaces where people feel seen, heard, valued and respected for their differences.
